PE bags are poly or film products made of polyethylene (PE).
Polyethylene is a thermoplastic material commonly used in different forms for various purposes, i.e., packaging materials.
PE bags can be transparent or colored (you can choose between 8 different colors).
PE bags are used to protect food or textiles, among other things.
Edible goods in the PE bag are kept safe from environmental influences and dust.
PE bags can come in many shapes, which depend on the product you want packed.
Here at Krus, we can manufacture PE bags according to your specifications.

Send InquiryDue to their universal nature, PE bags can be found in many industries and sectors. Our expertise here at Krus has already resulted in a large number of satisfied customers. PE bags from Krus are used in many different fields, including:
PE bags are made of polyethylene – an umbrella term for different types of plastic. At Krus, we can offer PE bags in the following material blends:
The most widely used type of PE bags is made of LDPE (Low-density Polyethylene). LDPE was the first PE quality grade developed. PE bags made from LDPE are often transparent and recyclable. LDPE bags are the most cost-effective choice for PE bags.
PE bags made of COEX consist of several layers of film, which are applied one after the other and joined together in an extruder. Depending on the final use, the layers can be combined in different ways.
COEX can be used to manufacture a wide variety of different film products, e.g., bags for potting soil. Inside of such a bag is lined with a film meant to protect the soil against UV radiation. The product information is printed on the outside white film.
PE bags made of MDPE (Medium-density Polyethylene) combine the advantages of HDPE (High-density Polyethylene) and LDPE (Low-density Polyethylene) films. PE bags made of MDPE are more cuttable than those made of LDPE. They are also more durable than products made of HDPE.
Bags made of HDPE are produced with a catalyst in a low-pressure process. The low pressure during manufacturing reduces the formation of side branches of the molecules – instead, the molecules arrange themselves in a more linear fashion. This results in a high degree of crystallization and increased density. Due to its better tear resistance, HDPE is often used for waste bags and protective films.
Regranulate is a raw material made from recycled plastic. The different granules are mixed together according to the color or properties desired by the customer. The thermal and mechanical properties of PE bags made from regranulate are comparable to those made from brand-new raw materials.
We offer our customers a wide variety of different PE bag shapes, including:
PE bags can be supplemented with different additives during production to increase protective properties against certain environmental factors.
Antistatic additive protects PE bags intended for electronic components. The bags should provide reliable and long-term protection against electrostatic discharge. The identifying mark of these bags is usually pink and there is an ESD warning signal printed on it.
The UV stabilizer additive is added to PE bags when they are expected to be exposed to direct sunlight for a long time. The bag and the contents are protected by a UV stabilizer, which safely converts the ultraviolet part of the light.
Antiblock supports the rollability of PE bags. During the production of PE pouches, mineral or organic additives are added to make the surface of the final product rougher. Thanks to that, if two layers of film are placed on top of each other, they can be separated more easily due to the rougher surface.
The antifog additive is usually mixed-in for bags used to package edible goods. The water vapor from foods such as fresh vegetables or meat can result in fogging, which has to be reduced to guarantee the safety of the product.
The antifog additive can also increase the shelf life of food.
PE bags are used for many different purposes in various fields. The most common fields of application for our products include:
The size of a PE bag depends on the dimensions of the product you want to pack. PE bags can be produced in various sizes, from around 70 mm to a maximum size of 1,350 mm. In order to save money, the size should be optimally adapted to the dimensions of your product.
The dimensions of the product to be packed are decisive for the size of the PE bag. A few millimeters must be added after calculating the size of the bag to ensure trouble-free packing.
We will be happy to calculate the size for you if you have any problems, so feel free to contact us at any time during our business hours!
Your own needs determine how many PE bags you order. We will be happy to advise you if you need assistance. If you choose Krus, we will deliver the requested poly bags suited to the article type and dimensions of your product. Our minimum purchase weight is between 100 and 300 kg.
If you lack suitable space for warehousing the PE bags, we can offer you both storage and picking services. We will take care of the shipping and storage of the PE bags completely. Feel free to contact us to get more information!
The color of your PE bags is largely based on your needs and requirements. At Krus, you can choose from 8 different colors. PE bags for food products are mostly transparent. For electronic products, pink-colored bags are chosen, as they protect the contents from electrostatic charge.
Krus offers different designs of PE bags, including the following finishes:
Yes, depending on the material type, certain PE bags can offer more reusability than others.
Yes, PE bags can be disposed of either in the yellow garbage can or in the yellow bag, depending on the region you live in. Following waste separation, PE bags can be used, for example, as a base material for the creation of other types of film.
The Pantone color system is an internationally recognized system for coding colors. It was developed by the American company Pantone LLC and is established as a standard in the printing and design industry.
