Krus OPP film is food safe and environmentally friendly, which makes it a perfect choice for food packaging.
The OPP film is often used for wrapping confectionery or ready-made products, but it is also ideal for spices, vegetables, and bakery goods.
Due to their unique properties, OPP films can also be safely used as packaging for hygiene, cosmetic and medical products.
Flat bags made of OPP material are non-irritating to the skin or the respiratory tract.
We can apply a promotional imprint (such as your logo) on our OPP films, which will make your goods lying on supermarket shelves particularly appealing to the end consumer.
The OPP film is also highly transparent.
The OPP film is highly versatile. We will be happy to help you select the ideal size for your intended use.Send Inquiry
|Material||BOPP, CAST, AG, BP|
|Width||From 100 mm to 1200 mm - in the form of a tape. Above 1200 mm - in the form of a half-sleeve.|
|Thickness||from 25 μm to 50 μm|
|Color||Depending on the type: transparent, metallized, pearl-white and white film.|

|Properties||No discoloration, stiff. Rustles. PP film is not suitable for freezing and shrinking. CPP film is similarly a bad choice for freezing - it cracks when subjected to temperatures below zero. Its properties return after the temperature is restored to normal.|
|Usage||Used in the packaging industry to manufacture bags with side seals and for wrapping articles. It is also prevalent in the florist, food, medical, and hygiene industries.|
OPP can be used to make cold-weather base layers, such as long underwear and long-sleeved shirts. It can be also used for outdoor clothing, where moisture needs to be wicked away from the body.
Polypropylene is often used for diapers or hygiene products. For this application, it is treated in such a way that it absorbs water instead of repelling it. Polypropylene in mesh form is used in surgeries concerning hernias and pelvic organ prolapse.
OPP is used in promotional materials and can be printed in multiple colors. Custom colors can be produced, such as decorative tints with a mirror-like finish or metallic luster.
In printable medical ID wristbands for hospitals, an antimicrobial coating can be applied to label material for bacteria prevention. Such coating is commonly used for pharmaceutical and surgical packaging where infection control is necessary.

You can pack the following things with OPP film:
OPP is short for ‘oriented polypropylene’. OPP film is a product made of polypropylene stretched in the transverse or longitudinal direction (monoaxial = OPP) or in both directions (biaxial = BOPP). Polypropylene is harder and more heat-resistant than polyethylene and is very commonly used for packaging. It is the second most commonly used standard plastic. A big advantage of polypropylene over other plastics is that it is comparatively easy to recycle.
Our OPP films are available as flat film
Polypropylene has a very wide range of applications due to its toughness and tear resistance. Films made of polypropylene are lightweight, do not build up a static charge, and are
almost insensitive to scratching. They are also resistant to a number of chemicals. PP is UV-stabilized and temperature resistant in the range of approximately -10 °C to +110 °C. Under favorable conditions, polypropylene burns to form carbon dioxide and water.
With over 100 different varieties, polypropylene film is one of the most widely used films in the world. Polypropylene is commonly used to make oriented polypropylene (OPP). This film has excellent moisture-resistant properties, making it ideal for use with normal inks that provide a very clear print result. Polypropylene is the leading flexible packaging film, surpassed in volume only by low-density polyethylene (LDPE).
Polypropylene film is a thermoplastic polymer with a wide range of applications, from wrappings to carpets. The main application of OPP film is food packaging due to its good strength, high transparency, adequate barrier properties, and relatively low cost compared to cellophane. It can be found in almost all areas of daily life.
Polypropylene is very resistant to fatigue. To illustrate the point, a plastic hinge can be opened and closed over 1000 times without damage. Most flip-top packaging solutions have this property.
Melting polypropylene is achieved through extrusion and molding. The most commonly used molding technique is injection molding. Polypropylene can also be melted through blow molding and injection stretch blow molding. The ability to tailor certain grades with specific molecular properties during manufacture results in a wide range of end uses. A good example is the use of an antistatic additive that protects the polypropylene surface against dirt and dust.
