OPP is short for ‘oriented polypropylene’. OPP film is a product made of polypropylene stretched in the transverse or longitudinal direction (monoaxial = OPP) or in both directions (biaxial = BOPP). Polypropylene is harder and more heat-resistant than polyethylene and is very commonly used for packaging. It is the second most commonly used standard plastic.
